Sabah Electricity uses helicopters to speed up power restoration works in Penampang

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricity has started using helicopters to carry and send equipment for the installation of an Emergency Restoration System in Penampang.

Sabah Electricity shared an update on its Facebook page, showing the ground works being done on Monday (Sept 15) evening.

“The weather improved a little this evening, so we were able to use a helicopter to carry and send equipment from base point to the T5 tower site,” it said.

This step can speed up the installation works and strengthen efforts to restore power to affected areas, it said.
