Male body found with injuries by Klang roadside 


SHAH ALAM: The body of a man with several injuries was found by the roadside in Jalan Kempas Kiri, Kampung Perepat in Kapar, Klang, near here early on Thursday (Sept 11).

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao confirmed the incident and said his department received information regarding the discovery of the body in the area at 3.30am.

"Initial police investigations at the scene found the body of a 33-year-old local man with several injury marks.

"The body has been taken to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) forensic unit in Klang for a post-mortem, and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he said in a statement the same day.

ACP Vijaya Rao said members of the public with information may contact Investigating Officer ASP Chua Chong Kheow at 019-4217868 or the North Klang district police headquarters at 03-32912222 to assist in the investigation.
