SINGER and actor Amir Masdi (pic) recently said that he was not interested in romantic relationships for now.
Reportedly single, the soft-spoken artiste, whose real name is Amir Syazwan Masdi, told Kosmo! that he had yet to meet the right person.
“I do not shy away or reject companionship, nor am I dismissing the idea of marriage. It is just that the right time for love has not come for me.
“Who are we to question God’s will? Everyone has their own path, whether their journey towards building a family comes sooner or later,” said Amir Masdi, adding that for now, he has another priority.
“While I am still single, I see this as my chance to devote myself wholeheartedly to my parents, while also focusing on my career,” he said.
He also said that his family has never pressured him to get married and they always supported his life choices – whether in his career or personal life.
“I’m not fussy when it comes to choosing a partner but I do place great importance on empathy and respect,” he added.
