STPM leavers to get uni admission results on Sept 5, says Higher Education Ministry

PETALING JAYA: The results of applications for admission into public universities for the 2025/2026 academic session will be announced on Friday (Sept 5).

The Higher Education Ministry stated this is for Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent holders.

"Results can be viewed online from 12pm onwards until Sept 14 through the following platforms: online at https://upu.mohe.gov.my or via the UPUPocket mobile application," it said in a statement on Wednesday (Sept 3).

Confirmation of acceptance or rejection of the offer can be done on the respective universities’ websites from Sept 6 to 14.

Official offer letters will be issued by public universities to successful applicants starting from Sept 6, once applicants have confirmed their acceptance within the stated period.

Only applicants who did not receive an offer may submit their appeal through UPUOnline via https://upu.mohe.gov.my within 10 days, starting from Sept 5 until Sept 14.

"Offers for the 2025/2026 academic session are final and requests to change programmes or universities will not be allowed. Appeals are subject to available vacancies in the programmes after the registration of new students is completed," it said.
