No Malaysians affected by 6.0-magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan

PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): No Malaysian has been reported affected by the 6.0-magnitude earthquake in eastern Afghanistan late Sunday that has killed at least 800 people and caused widespread damage.

In a media advisory on Monday, the Foreign Ministry through the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad said it remains in close contact with local authorities in Pakistan and is monitoring the situation.
