Telco coverage monitoring, penalties among focus of Parliament today


KUALA LUMPUR: The monitoring methods and penalties imposed on telecommunications companies that fail to provide satisfactory coverage, particularly in rural areas, are among the matters to be discussed at the Dewan Rakyat sitting on Monday (Aug 25).

According to the Order Paper on the Parliament portal, the matter will be raised by Muhammad Fawwaz Mohamad Jan (PN-Permatang Pauh) to the Communications Minister during the oral question-and-answer session.
