Recent spike in crime caused by thieving drug addicts, says Kedah top cop


ALOR SETAR: Theft by drug addicts has become the leading cause of rising index crime rates in Kedah, says police chief CP Adzli Abu Shah.

He noted that from Jan 1 to Sunday (July 27), Kedah recorded 2,852 index crime cases, with 47 percent involving theft linked to drug addicts.
