Parts of MRR2 to close overnight for road works

PARTS of the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) will be closed from 11pm on Thursday (July 24) night until 5am on Friday (July 25).

In a statement posted on Facebook on Thursday (July 24), the Duta-Ulu Kelang (DUKE) Highway public relations units said motorists using the Keramat AU exit near Taman Hillview towards Zoo Negara and Gombak right up to KM23.7 would be affected.

Road closures include the U-turn to Zoo Negara from Gombak as well as Exit 3308A to Taman Melawati.

DUKE said that the closure was to enable road-paving works on MRR2.

It added that an alternative route to Taman Melawati in Hulu Kelang via the U-turn in front of Plaza Flamingo, Ampang would be available to minimise disruption for highway users.

Motorists are advised to comply with the signs and instructions issued by traffic officers while passing through the area.

Further details are available from the DUKE hotline at 03-6251 3100 or via social media.
