KL cops: Two people questioned over Shila Amzah assault allegations


PETALING JAYA: Two statements have been recorded so far as police continue the probe into allegations that artiste Shila Amzah was assaulted by a veteran artist.

The police also said that more witnesses will be called in soon, Sinar Harian reported.

“The motive is still being investigated. The statement of the allegedly implicated individual has yet to be taken as well,” said Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Comm Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad.

This comes after Shila claimed she was assaulted by a veteran singer du­ring a rehearsal session for a concert.

She then lodged a report at the Dang Wangi police headquarters here at 5.31pm on Thursday (July 10).
