Body of man found in Taman Tasik Danau Kota


KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a man was found in Taman Tasik Danau Kota, along Jalan Genting Klang.

Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Zulkefri Abdul Malik stated that the distress call was received at about 8.18am on Saturday (June 28).

"Seven firemen from Setapak fire station were dispatched to the scene. Once we arrived, we discovered the body of a man floating on the surface of the lake," he said in a statement.

The body was recovered from the lake at about 8.56am, he added.

"The body has since been handed over to the police for further action," he said.
