Over 730 take part in badminton tournament

MORE than 730 amateur badminton players took part in a tournament organised by the Perak Indian Badminton Association (Piba), Malaysia Nanban reported.

The 46th edition of the event saw participation from players aged between seven years old and 70 years old.

Piba president N. Loganathan said the Youth and Sports Ministry contributed RM45,000 to support the event.

Perak state assembly deputy speaker Jenny Choy Tsi Jen attended the event as a special guest and officially opened the competition.

In the incident which took place in Bangalore, the woman apparently hit the driver after he accidentally knocked her vehicle.
