THE Sustainable Home Design Competition, jointly organised by Haverse Holding Sdn Bhd and University Technology Malaysia (UTM), concluded recently.

This collaboration marks the first partnership between Haverse and UTM in the field of sustainable architecture, demonstrating their joint efforts to promote eco-friendly building practices and innovative design solutions.

At the event's opening, Haverse director Tan Choon Kiat and UTM Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying dean Prof Kherun Nita Ali signed a Letter of Intent (LOI), marking a strategic partnership in sustainable architecture and paving the way for future collaborations.

Through this LOI, both parties are committed to promoting the use of eco-friendly building materials, the application of energy-saving technologies, and the widespread adoption of sustainable design principles.

Since its establishment in 2022, Haverse has focused on developing high-quality, innovative, and environmentally-conscious real estate projects.

With the successful launch of the Sustainable Home Design Competition, Haverse and UTM will continue to collaborate, pushing the boundaries in green building and eco-design, and bringing more innovative projects to life.

Haverse looks forward to more young designers joining the movement towards sustainable design, contributing forward-thinking and environmentally-conscious solutions to society.
