Federal Govt and Sarawak reach consensus on PETRONAS and Petros issues

PETALING JAYA: The Federal Government and the Sarawak state government have reached a consensus on all issues involving PETRONAS and Petros through negotiations, according to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

In a statement, the PMO said a meeting was held between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Tun Openg on Friday (May 9), along with top officials of the two petroleum companies.
