MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms on west coast of peninsula on May 4


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) is warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Peninsular Malaysia until 3pm on Sunday (May 4).

In a statement, MetMalaysia said the states affected are Perlis; Kedah (Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kulim and Bandar Baharu); Penang; Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim); Selangor (Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling and Kuala Langat) and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur

The public is advised to refer to the MetMalaysia website at met.gov.my, its social media accounts, or the myCuaca app for current and verified weather information.
