OKU driver accidentally crashes into Ampang food court while parking


KUALA LUMPUR: A person with disabilities (OKU) accidentally drove into a food court here while he was parking his car on Thursday (May 1).

The incident occurred at the Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya food court along Jalan Kerja Air Lama, Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said in a statement on Friday (May 2).

“He was attempting to park in the OKU bay there.

"He stepped on the accelerator by accident, causing his vehicle to crash into the food court, hitting the furniture," he said.

No injuries were reported, he added.
