Muslims in Malaysia to celebrate Hari Raya on March 31


KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Monday (March 31), says the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad.

The announcement was broadcast live on national television on Sunday (March 30) night.

On March 20, the Office of the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal said in a statement that the sighting of the new moon would take place on March 30.
