KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has urged every district in the state to develop tourism products in preparation for Visit Sabah Year 2027.
“Through this approach, the benefits of tourism will not be confined to major industry players and businesses,” he said at the opening of the 148th Tamu Besar Kota Belud.

Kota Belud is part of the Kinabalu UNESCO Global Geopark.
Hajiji said the state government would also prioritise local infrastructure and digital development, including a Digital Economy Centre and the near-completed Kota Belud-Wariu section of the Pan Borneo Highway.
The event was also graced by Head of State Tun Musa Aman and his wife, Toh Puan Faridah Tussin.
