IPOH: A 29-year-old man was killed, while three others sustained minor injuries in an accident involving a cow truck and a car at Selatan Pagar, Lenggong, Perak early on Friday (March 21) morning.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said they received a distress call regarding the incident at 12.49am.

"There were four victims involved. Three of them, namely a woman and a man in their 30s, along with a two-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries.

"They were rescued by the public and handed over to the Health Ministry personnel before the Fire and Rescue Department arrived at the scene," he said in a statement on Friday.

However, he said that the fourth victim, the 29-year-old man, was trapped in the front passenger seat of the car.

"He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Health Ministry and was handed to the police for further action," he said.
