DESPITE being down with a cold, Hong Kong superstar Jacky Cheung returned to the stage to continue his 60+ Concert Tour, China Press reported.

He had earlier cancelled three of his shows in Guangzhou.

However, the 63-year-old “God of Songs”, who is known for his work ethic, decided to continue the tour this week.

He was seen holding a handkerchief and wiping his nose during one of the shows.

“Everyone knows I cancelled three of my shows last week. But my voice is still ‘sexy’ right now. I’m recovering from a cold. I totally lost my voice last week. How am I to perform without my voice?

“For that, I apologise for troubling everyone,” he said.

Cheung joked that his fans should think of him as a Jacky Cheung impersonator.

“If I do sound like him, please give me a round of applause. Otherwise, please forgive me as I am not the official Jacky Cheung. I am in fact Jacky Cheung who has a cold! Thank you for your understanding.”

> A woman in China has been nicknamed the “prettiest veterinarian alive” after saving a cat by performing CPR on it, the daily also reported.

The incident took place when a stray cat was knocked out from being hit by a bicycle.

Video footage showed a woman dressed in green rushing to rescue the cat by massaging its chest and performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

The cat was responsive soon after.

The woman took it back to her clinic for treatment.

“For a vet, it doesn’t matter if they are working or are off duty. They will do their best to save an animal in need,” one netizen wrote.
