Bank Rakyat announces fourth millionaire for Rizq Plus Investment-i account


Bank Rakyat celebrates another new millionaire through its Rizq Plus Investment-i account, along with other winners, at an event in Kuala Lumpur.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Rakyat celebrated another new millionaire through its Rizq Plus Investment-i account.

Low Hui Yong, 58, a schoolteacher from Johor Baru, took home the grand prize of RM1mil. during the Majlis Raikan Jutaan Ganjaran event held at the Menara Kembar, Bank Rakyat.

The Millionaire Draw is part of the new prize and reward structure for the Rizq Plus Investment-i account for the year 2026. With a total prize pool valued at RM10.8mil, the campaign produces one millionaire every quarter.

Bank Rakyat group chief executive officer Ahmad Shahril Mohd Shariff said, "This marks Bank Rakyat's fourth millionaire announcement overall since the Rizq Plus Investment-i account was first introduced in 2022. Since then, the account has continued to receive an overwhelmingly positive response from customers nationwide.

"This achievement symbolises our customers' confidence in the bank’s investment products. It also demonstrates that prudent financial planning and disciplined investing can bring about life-changing transformations.

“I am also pleased to share that the search for our next Rizq Plus millionaire does not stop here, as the next Millionaire Draw will take place in July 2026," he said during his speech at the event, which also celebrated winners of other Bank Rakyat campaigns.

Also celebrated at the event was Fifi Ann Madawan from Kelana Jaya, who won the RM20,000 monthly draw prize and Nafizah Ahmad Mokhtar from Bangsar, who secured eGold worth RM15,000 under the 50 Plus Draw category.

In addition, the bank honoured the winners of the "We’ll Take You There" campaign, which offered total prizes valued at RM330,000. The campaign involved four of Bank Rakyat's core products: Credit Card-i, Personal Financing-i, Home Financing-i and Vehicle Financing-i.

The grand prize, an MG S5 electric vehicle, was won by Izwan Idris from Pahang.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Jamil Abas from Sarawak won a home furnishing package worth RM30,000, while Anis Suraya Che Ab Kadir from Pahang won a holiday package to Norway worth RM20,000.

The ceremony also recognised the grand prize winner of the Special Financing Campaign for the Public Sector, where Mohd Azri Arifin from Kelantan walked away with a Proton e.MAS 5 electric vehicle.
