Senator urges PM's intervention in standoff over proposed 45-hour work week for nurses


KUALA LUMPUR: A senator has called on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to step in and resolve concerns over plans to implement a 45-hour work week for healthcare workers.

Senator Lingeshwaran R. Arunasalam said that plans to hold further engagement sessions with stakeholders over the issue was pointless and that Anwar's intervention is needed to resolve the standoff.
