Ismail Sabri stable but needs close medical supervision, says aide


KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob remains under close medical supervision, says his press secretary Azran Fitri Abdul Rahim.

"His condition is stable but his blood pressure is fluctuating, which requires careful monitoring," he told Bernama when contacted on Sunday (Feb 23).

Azran Fitri added that the hospital has restricted any visits for now, allowing only immediate family members until his condition improves.

The Bera MP was hospitalised after collapsing at his residence early Saturday.

He regained full consciousness in the afternoon but requires close medical observation. – Bernama
