Selangor and Pahang royals grace hotel’s opening in Sepang

SEPANG: The grand opening of ibis Styles Sepang KLIA was a landmark event for Malaysia’s hospitality sector, attended by distinguished guests, including Their Royal Highnesses of Selangor and Pahang.

The ceremony was officiated by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and graced by the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and other esteemed members of the Royal family, including Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.

Fajarbaru group executive chairman Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy and Star Media Group chairman Tan Sri Wong Foon Meng were also present at the event.

ISY Hotel Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Syed Mohd Yusof Syed Nasir said he is confident that the hotel would play a substantial role in bolstering the country’s tourism industry.

Accor senior vice-president of operations, Malaysia and Indonesia, Michel Vivier highlighted the company’s continued growth in Malaysia.

Located just a few kilometres away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, ibis Styles Sepang KLIA offers a vibrant stay for travellers. 

The hotel features stylishly themed rooms, an all-day dining restaurant named sTREATs, a poolside bar called The FIX Lounge and dedicated spaces for both business and leisure. 

General manager Jason Ngan said the hotel is designed to cater to various needs of travellers.
