MetMalaysia: Severe weather expected in several states until 6pm on Feb 15


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in parts of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak until 6pm on Saturday (Feb 15).

The Meteorology Malaysia Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning at 2.45pm of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Perak (Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim), Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub and Rompin), Selangor (Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat), Kuala Lumpur, Negri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah and Rembau), Melaka and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Baru)

Severe weather is also expected in Sarawak: Limbang as well as in Sabah: Interior (Sipitang, Tenom and Beaufort).
