Sultan Ibrahim departs for medical treatment abroad

PETALING JAYA: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has left the country to undergo medical treatment abroad.

The matter has been duly conveyed to the Conference of Rulers and the federal government.

“Istana Negara calls upon all Malaysians to pray for His Majesty’s swift recovery and continued well-being,” it said in a statement on Friday (Feb 7).

Accompanying His Majesty are Tunku Panglima Johor, Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, and Tunku Putera Johor, Tunku Abu Bakar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.
