RENOWNED singer Hazama (pic), 41, values time with his wife, Genervie Kam, more than ever following her recent health scare.
A few months ago, Kam, 45, suffered a mild heart attack, a moment that changed their outlook on life and strengthened their bond, Kosmo! reported.
Kam, a well-known music director and violinist, has since prioritised her health.
“She complained of discomfort and a rapid heartbeat, so I took her to the clinic. The doctor recommended further tests at the hospital,” Hazama recalled.
“Thankfully, there were no blockages, but her cholesterol level was slightly high, and the irregular heartbeat was likely due to fatigue.”
The experience served as a wake-up call for both of them, especially as they enter their 40s.
“We’ve become more mindful and take better care of each other. Now, we’re rarely apart and don’t want to be separated,” said Hazama, whose full name is Hazama Ahmad Azmi.
> Actor Zamarul Hisham faced a distressing moment when he suddenly struggled to breathe while filming a drama, Kosmo! Online reported.
The incident, which occurred around 2am yesterday, saw Zamarul being rushed to Hospital Port Dickson in Negri Sembilan.
His wife, actress Diana Rafar, confirmed that Zamarul is currently in the intensive care unit, though doctors have yet to disclose the cause of his condition.
“I was staying at a nearby hotel with our children when I received a call from the drama’s producer, Haji Zeel, urging me to come immediately.
“When I arrived, I saw my husband being massaged by a few crew members. He looked weak and was lying down, which made everyone panic.
“One of the crew members called for an ambulance, which quickly transported him to the hospital for urgent treatment,” she added.
Diana said while Zamarul is now conscious, he remains under close observation and is expected to be hospitalised for five days.
