Najib's youngest son Norashman welcomes first child

PETALING JAYA: Norashman Najib, the youngest son of Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, has welcomed his first child.

"Celebrating the arrival of Ardan, born to Ashman and Nikola," said the former prime minister in a Facebook post on Thursday (Jan 16).

Najib, who is currently serving a prison sentence, expressed his sadness at not being able to celebrate the milestone with his family.

"My child got married, I couldn't be there. I have a new grandchild but I couldn't be with them," he wrote.

The post was accompanied by a photo of Norashman, who goes by Ashman Najib on Instagram, cradling his newborn at the hospital. He married Nikola Mulyadi on Dec 16, 2023.

Meanwhile, Norashman, in an Instagram post, expressed gratitude for the birth of his first child.

"Hello world! My name is Ardan Razak Nor Ashman. God willing, I promise to fill this world with goodness and love."
