Continuous rain for southern Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and S'wak until Jan 19


KUALA LUMPUR: The ongoing monsoon is forecasted to persist until Sunday (Jan 19), potentially causing continuous rainfall in the southern Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, and Sabah.

This is based on the Meteorological Department's (MetMalaysia) analysis of its latest forecast models which it shared on its Facebook page on Thursday (Jan 16).

MetMalaysia also updated the Continuous Rain Warning (Bad & Alert) for Sabah, Sarawak, and Johor, effective until Sunday.

Simultaneously, a Strong Wind and Rough Seas Warning was also issued for the South China Sea waters until the same date.
