Anwar to strengthen regional ties during UAE visit as 2025 Asean chair


ABU DHABI: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has embarked on a three-day working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Sunday (Jan 12), with the aim of strengthening regional cooperation in Malaysia’s capacity as the 2025 Asean chair.

Malaysian ambassador to the UAE, Tengku Datuk Sirajuzzaman Tengku Mohamed Ariffin (pic) said the the Prime Minister's visit will emphasise Asean's role in advocating sustainable development and green innovation in Southeast Asia.
