Pavilion Damansara Heights is upping the ante on Lunar New Year celebrations with a host of fun-filled activities, cultural performances and exhibitions as well as festive rewards.

THIS Chinese New Year, Pavilion Damansara Heights is taking Lunar New Year celebrations to new heights, embracing soaring aspirations, treasured traditions, and the spirit of togetherness.

From now until Feb 12, dive into the festivities with a spectacular lineup of cultural events at the mall’s Heights of Happiness Chinese New Year open house.

Chinese culture on display

In collaboration with the World Culture Organisation, Pavilion Damansara Heights proudly unveils the spectacular ‘Most Chinese culture diorama display,’ an awe-inspiring exhibit spanning 93 ft in length.

With the theme ‘Bringing Happiness to Life,’ this cultural showcase captures the vibrancy of Chinese New Year through four captivating themes: China Five Dynasties Banquet Celebration, Old Beijing, Malaysia Chinese New Year, and Journey to the West.

Visitors can also step into the auspicious atmosphere at centre court on Level 2, and be charmed by the towering panda and red bear, standing tall at 12 ft and 14 ft respectively amidst vibrant decorations.

Explore the bustling Chinese New Year booths by Herbal Farmer and GPR, offering sweet treats, Chinese snacks, herbal teas, and fruit blends, and don’t miss their exquisite hampers either, which make for perfect gifts for loved ones.

Those with families can head to the Family Fun Zone to play life-size snakes and ladders, thrilling modern arcade games, and capture picture-perfect moments at the themed photo booth.

Don’t forget to make a pit stop at the auspicious wishing tree. Write heartfelt wishes for good health, happiness, and prosperity on a message card and hang it on the abundant tree.

Fortune will smile upon eight lucky shoppers who will be randomly selected to receive an exclusive gift* for their wishes.

Celebrating calligraphy

This year, the mall is teaming up with the Calligraphy Society of Malaysia’s president Ng Swee Kheng, to create an exclusive ang pow set featuring the Chinese character of happiness.

Shoppers can explore the beauty of calligraphy at the calligraphy art exhibition and enjoy complimentary calligraphy art giveaways on select dates in Jan 2025.
