Landslide on Lekas Highway: Emergency lane, slow lane closed at KM9.3 northbound

KUALA LUMPUR: The emergency and slow lanes at KM9.3 northbound on the Kajang-Seremban Expressway (Lekas) have been closed following a landslide.

Lekas said in a statement on Thursday (Dec 12) that the closure of the two lanes is to make way for roadworks to repair the affected area.

"A Traffic Management Plan (with road signage) and 24-hour monitoring have been implemented to ensure the safety of road users in the highway traffic.

"Drivers (on Lekas) are advised to comply with the Traffic Management Plan and road signs when passing through the location of the slope collapse. Any inconvenience is deeply regretted," read the statement.
