Woman found dead at Bukit Bintang condo, believed to have fallen


KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was found dead after apparently falling from an unknown floor onto the roof of the Pavilion Suites Foyer in Bukit Bintang.

The woman was confirmed dead by Health Ministry personnel at the location after her body was retrieved from the rooftop.

Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Md Fuad Selamat said a team of 16 personnel from the Pudu and Jalan Hang Tuah Fire and Rescue stations was deployed to the scene after receiving an emergency call regarding the incident at 3.57am on Monday (Nov 11).

"Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that a female victim had fallen onto the roof of the Pavilion Suites Foyer from an unknown floor," he stated on Monday (Nov 11).

The body of the female victim was successfully recovered at 7.48am with the assistance of the building’s skylift, he added.

"The operation involved lowering the victim to the ground using a lowering technique," he said, adding that the body was then handed over to the police for further action.
