The 11th World Fujian Convention kicks off in Kuala Lumpur

THE 11th World Fujian Convention - Trade Convention, is set to take place from Nov 7 to 9 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Themed “Sailing the Maritime Silk Dream, Uniting Fujianese Worldwide”, the convention highlights the deep ties the community shares with the Maritime Silk Road and celebrates the unity that connects Fujianese people across the globe.

This premier B2B event will draw over 10,000 attendees and feature exhibitors from a wide range of industries, including food and agriculture, technical equipment, consumer goods, and service trades.

With 150 booths showcasing products from 108 exhibitors across Asean, the convention has already garnered international interest, welcoming participants from Malaysia, China, the United States, Brunei, and numerous countries across Asia, Europe, and Africa.

“Over the next three days, I encourage everyone to take full advantage of the programmes we've organised,” says the 11th World Fujian Convention 2024 chairman Tan Sri Ir Lim Hock San.

“These events provide excellent opportunities for networking, learning, and forming new partnerships that will lead to future innovation and success,” adds Lim, who is also The Federation of Hokkien Associations of Malaysia president.

The convention, a significant milestone in international trade collaboration, will be officiated by Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul.

The event will also feature an exciting grand lucky draw, offering prizes valued at RM120,000 including a Proton Saga AT, an Ogawa massage chair, an Omega Constellation watch, iPads, iPhones, health packages, staycations, and more.
