PKR National Congress: PKR delegate calls for return to party’s own flag in polls

AYER KEROH: A PKR delegate has asked the party to consider using its own logo in the upcoming elections.

Selangor PKR delegate Ahmad Danish Hairudin said, while debating the president’s policy on Saturday (Aug 15), that it is time for PKR to consider the move.

“The Keadilan flag carried the voices of Malaysians in 2018,” he said.

He said Selangor is the last remaining stronghold after the party lost Negri Sembilan, adding that Selangor PKR will defend this final bastion.

He said the government formed with Umno was a compromise because the people needed stability, but there are limits.

Therefore, he said boundaries must be maintained in political friendships.

“Do we want to continue to be friends with the person who has competed against us, or do we want to fight them as we did in the past?” he said.
