Motorcyclist dies in accident near Ulu Tiram toll


JOHOR BARU: A 27-year-old man has died in a motorcycle accident near the Ulu Tiram toll on the Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE).

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak reported that the accident occurred at 7.40pm on Sunday (Oct 13), with the victim believed to have lost control of his motorcycle.

The man crashed into the roadside, sustaining severe injuries to his face and left leg. Paramedics from Sultan Ismail Hospital (HSI) pronounced him dead at the scene.

On Monday (Oct 14), Supt Mohd Sohaimi urged the public to exercise caution on the roads, particularly during peak hours and at night.
