Student renting room slashes woman in Sepang


SEPANG: A man renting a room in an apartment has allegedly slashed his landlord here.

Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman said that the victim, a woman, was attacked in her unit in Bandar Sunsuria on April 10.

"The suspect was renting a room in the apartment which had two rooms," he said on Sunday (April 12).

A 22-year-old student was arrested on the day of the attack.

Investigations are being conducted under Section 326 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.
