GISB probe: Magistrate’s Court rejected bail applications of 22 women


SHAH ALAM: The Magistrate’s Court rejected the bail application against 22 individuals believed to be followers of Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB) on Wednesday (Sept 25).

The applicants were all local women.

Magistrate Muhammad Syafiq Sulaiman then rejected the bail application with the surety bond under Section 118 of the Criminal Procedure Code, reported Sinar Harian.

All the individuals were then taken to the Shah Alam District Police Headquarters (IPD) Central Lockup.

Earlier, all the suspects arrived at the court at about 10am. They were accompanied and closely guarded by some fully armed policemen.
