Dr Wee attends pre-council meeting in conjunction with Zahid's China visit

PETALING JAYA: A pre-council meeting took place in conjunction with Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's official visit to China on Tuesday (Sept 10).

Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the Deputy Prime Minister chaired the meeting which was attended by Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

"My sincere appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for his invitation to join his delegation to China as a special advisor and attend all the coordination sessions, forums and dialogues with investors and halal entrepreneurs from China.

"I will give my best in providing input on the global halal industry and aero technologies," said the MCA president in a Facebook post on Tuesday (Sept 10).

Others at the meeting were Melaka senior exco member Datuk Rais Yasin, Mara chairman Datuk Wira Dr Ayraf Wajdi Dasuk and Halal Development Corporation chairman Datuk Khairul Azwan Harun.
