KUALA LUMPUR: The recent sinkhole incident that swallowed Indian national Vijayalaksmi has increased the concerns of residents here, especially those living in areas prone to developing sinkholes.

On Aug 23, Vijayalaksmi fell into a sinkhole that appeared beneath her feet while she was walking with her family near the Malayan Mansion in Jalan Masjid India.
