KOTA KINABALU: Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 15-year-old teenager who reportedly ran away from his Kampung Buit Hill, Putatan home on Thursday (Aug 8) morning.
Rezlo Mic Fadden Romineo was said to have left home with his 13-year-old cousin and did not return, leading to his family lodging a police report at 10.18am that day.
“Initial investigations found that the teenager (Rezlo) has run away from home before, usually returning after a few days,” Penampang OCPD Supt Sammy Newton said when contacted on Friday (Aug 9).
He said police had also posted photos of the boys on Facebook, at the family's request, to enlist the public's help finding them.
It is believed that the younger cousin has returned home, but police are awaiting confirmation from his family.
