Family seeks help to find missing mother


PETALING JAYA: A 75-year-old woman with dementia has been reported missing after she wandered off from a care centre on Thursday evening.

Chew Lay Choo, who also responds to the names “Helen” or “Lay Choo”, was last seen at about 5pm on April 2 after leaving the facility.

Her last known location was near Pantai Hospital Bangsar, and efforts are ongoing to locate her.

Chew is described as being 165cm tall and was wearing a black and white top at the time of her disappearance.

Due to her condition, those who encounter her are advised to approach her calmly, as she may be easily startled.

Family members are appealing to the public, especially those in the Bangsar area, to keep a lookout and share information that could help in locating her.
