Paris 2024 Olympics: DPMs, Cabinet ministers congratulate Aaron-Wooi Yik on first medal


KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi extended his congratulations to national men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik for clinching the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics on Sunday night (Aug 4).

Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister, hailed the victory as a significant milestone, marking both the end of the country's wait for an Olympic medal and a repeat of their achievement from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
