LABUAN: The island here continues to uphold its cherished tradition of the gasoline-lit bamboo torch (becucul) and decorative outdoor lighting during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

This practice, dating back to the early 1960s, remains an integral part of the island’s cultural fabric, fostering a sense of unity and joy among its inhabitants.
