Partial closure of Jalan Syed Putra-Jalan Istana intersection from Sept 14


KUALA LUMPUR: A section of the Jalan Syed Putra and Jalan Istana intersection here will be closed in stages starting Sept 14, from 10pm to 5am, to facilitate preliminary construction work for the New Pantai Expressway Extension Project (NPE 2).

New Pantai Expressway Sdn Bhd (NPE) announced in a statement on Saturday (Sept 12) that the partial road closures and the implementation of temporary traffic management measures would be carried out in accordance with the construction schedule.

"Motorists are advised to plan their journeys and to comply with all signage, instructions from traffic personnel, and the established traffic management measures," the statement read.

NPE also reminded road users to adhere to safety guidelines and exercise increased caution when passing through the construction area.

"Motorists are also urged to follow the signage provided at the work site and to drive with extra care when passing through or approaching the construction zone," the statement added.
