Sabah Muda appoints Faezrah Rizalman as new chairman, replacing Amos Thien


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Muda has appointed Faezrah Rizalman as its next chairman, replacing Amos Thien, who recently joined DAP.

In a statement on its Facebook page on Monday (April 1), the party also announced that Faezrah, who was deputy chairperson, had been leading Sabah Muda since November last year until the next party election.

The statement came hours after Thien, 35, announced that he had officially joined DAP after a year of observation on how the party works.

As an inclusive party that celebrates differences of opinion and upholds the spirit of unity, Sabah Muda also wishes Thien the best on his new journey.

“Sabah Muda remains steadfast under the leadership of Faezrah and will continue to commit to bringing the people's issues, especially in ensuring the rights, welfare and education of the people of Sabah continue to be fought for.

“Sabah Muda is also open to cooperate with any party that supports the ideology and ensures that the cooperation is for the good of Sabahans,” the statement read.
