SHAH ALAM: The atmosphere at the Shah Alam Court Complex was a hive of activity as police personnel stood guard at the entrance of the premises on Tuesday (March 26).

Two companies and their directors will be charged at the Shah Alam Sessions Court this morning over the sale of socks bearing the word “Allah”.

The Attorney-General’s Chamber (AGC) in a statement on Monday (March 25) said the directors of KK Super Mart & Superstore Sdn Bhd will be charged under Section 298 of the Penal Code with intentionally wounding the religious feelings of others.

KK Super Mart founder Datuk Seri Dr KK Chai's wife Datin Seri Loh Siew Mui is also expected to be charged.

The AGC also said that vendor Xin Jian Chang Sdn Bhd will be charged under Section 109 of the Penal Code for abetting said offence by supplying the convenience store chain with the socks.
