Ex-DAP vet Ronnie Liu appointed as PBM info chief

PETALING JAYA: Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) has appointed former DAP leader Ronnie Liu Thian Khiew as its new information chief as part of a reshuffle to strengthen the party's leadership and administration.

PBM secretary-general Munan Laja said the appointments were approved at a meeting of the party's supreme council on Sunday (Aug 16).

William Low was appointed deputy information chief, while Benny Sieh was named treasurer-general with Sieh Ing Qing as deputy treasurer-general.

Munan said PBM president Datuk Larry Sng had also appointed Engga Unchat and Saarah Ali Bashah as members of the party's supreme council under the president's appointment quota.

"The appointments are expected to further strengthen PBM's leadership and party machinery, while enhancing cooperation and commitment among its members," he said in a statement on Sunday.

He said PBM was confident that the strengthened leadership line-up would contribute positively towards expanding the party's activities and advancing its aspirations for the people.
