Heatwave expected to hit peninsula and Sabah


PETALING JAYA: Dry and hot weather with temperatures exceeding 35°C are expected in most places in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah in the next seven days, says the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In Sarawak, thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds are expected in the afternoon and may persist until morning, it said in a statement yesterday.
