Selangor harvests 118 tonnes of grain maize from project on peat soil


TANJUNG SEPAT: The Selangor government, through the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), successfully harvested 118 tonnes of high-quality grain maize crop on Sunday (Jan 21).

State Infrastructure and Agriculture Committee chairman Izham Hashim said it was the first harvest from the crop project launched last year, involving an area of 16.9ha out of a total of 121ha.
