"Tour buses that exceed the age limit but have received Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) Special VR1 Report (Code 9009) approval are also allowed to apply for LPS," it said in a statement on Saturday (Jan 13).

On Friday (Jan 12), Transport Minister Anthony Loke said that Apad would open applications for LPS from Feb 7 to 18 to accommodate the high demand for buses in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations.
